Metalsteel : “Beyond The Stars” CD 9th December 2017 Parole Productions. Slovenian Heavy Metal band. I reviewed them few years ago and even if they have gained a lot of recognitions I still think they are underrated. This album is a concept about Extraterrestrial civilisations who descended on Earth in order to rise the spiritual awareness of mankind and interfere in the process of humanity’s evolution. This is brilliant to have written an album about this subject and musically it touches the rock edge at some point but still having the Heavy part well rooted. Sometimes making me think of Megadeth, RAM, Skid Row, Iced Earth and the melodies from Iron Maiden. They have a brilliant sound and manage to lead you into great feelings. Ten tracks with lyrics written like a book you are invited into this story. The last song is this video and it really gets you into the mood like a movie :
If like me this song has captured your soul then get that album ! I really think they have their own style and manage to keep their way to the top. It’s amazing to see all the things they achieved since I discovered them three years ago (“ This is your revelation” 100/100 the metal mag ). I’m glad to see bands like them growing and evolving with a maturation famous bands have. They are worth exposure to the world. In their career they have played numerous shows in Europe and also performed with James Rivera (Helstar, Distant Thunder, Malice). They have also shared the stage with legendary metal acts such as Saxon, W.A.S.P., Helloween etc…they are an amazing band , lot of hard work to bring great albums . The cover is the “gate” to another dimension called Metalsteel! You’re gonna be swallowed 98/100.
