Solarys : “Endless Clockworks” CD & Digital 20th December 2019 Wormholedeath. Spanish Progressive Rock band.

After years of playing in bands, the musicians decided to go in another direction. They started this new band back in 2006 to mix up some rocking tunes to explore other horizons. After releasing three albums they thought changing label to get an international sight, would be a great idea. They are now embarked into a world domination to please all the Progressives fans.

Although they come from a Metal background , this new album is really soft and touches the soul of people who like to breath and enjoy the melodies. A brilliant artwork for the cover showing a complex mechanic inside a watch, their music is not as such.  The keyboards and technics brought them into an edge of Progressive music. They have accomplished some light yet enjoying music to send you into their world. We can easily understand and find their influences that spills out from their creations. We can say they are more Rock than Heavy.

Once again the edge of music style will be a strong discussion for any listeners. Like the image of the back of a watch , we can say Solarys is out of time. Difficult to put it in a box of genres. This is where comes the Progressive element to categorize this piece of art. They are conquering every music lovers from anywhere.

I let you dive into this out of time music :

Nine songs to light up your soul, flying into the clouds. They even have a song called “Solaris”, “The last door” , “Faceless God” , “Alter Ego” the album has many stories to tell. Melodic solos and pounding drums it rocks. Influences ranging from Rush, Dream Theater, Yes, Dark Water, Angra…It’s soft rock with good songs. The double drums reminds they come from a Metal world but Solarys has passed this stage and now joins the rock world , they could be aired on radio stations and play on TV shows without problems.

Neither less to say, it is a really good album for those who wants to relax and enjoy what the bands has to say. Get the album if you dig this sound 98/100.
