Bloody Alchemy : “Reign Of Apathy” CD & Digital 25th October 2019 M & O Music ; Season of Mist , Believe Distribution Services.  French Brutal Death Metal band.

Started few years ago, the band like many , had a Thrash influence (Machine Head, Kreator, Sepultura..) and was already in the aim to play Death Metal. Listening to their first EP released a year after the band was actually creating songs (2016), the voice was already in that growling voice but not on all songs. The band’s logo was not much into that spirit . At first we can hear they were influenced by the first Death Metal bands era (Morbid Angel , Obituary, Morgoth..) . The cover artwork is from the beginning into the dark vibes and the songs titles reflect this image too.

In 2017 they released the first album , in which you could hear the first EP with new compositions. Why not pulling out another Ep this is the question, the band obviously got lots of compositions and the eager to release an album to blast to the world. We can say they are working tight to get their songs heard by the masses. It took only two years to get a new album to come. A brand new logo that fits more the music style. The compositions are now more into the Death Metal genre with the growling voice that fits the Brutal one. Some few melodies but musically the band is into bands such as Nile, Cannibal Corpse, Obsucra, Frantic Amber…

Blasting heavy tunes and a vocal in which we can’t understand any word, they have evolved into those brutal styles some love to spread. The scene into that style is strong and they will get a wild fan base for sure. Take care it ain’t for everyone. Some songs are still into that old school Thrash style, helping to enjoy a bit some passages with melodies and few words. The creations of the songs are well worked and if we listen to closely the music rather than the vocals, we can hear a lot of riffs and sounds that makes what Metal is today ( In Flames, Arch Enemy, Behemoth…).

So you got it, Bloody Alchemy is a typical modern Brutal Metal band. Few melodies and lots of blasting tunes to kick your day with anger and explosion. The band is expressing the society ‘s disorder, a world where nothing is good and destroyed by the states etc.. It speaks to us all but musically it is for a certain part of the Extreme Metal freaks.

A great logo, brilliant videos. The band is really giving the best we are waiting for in the music today. Bloody Alchemy has achieved a great job to arrive at that stage in a small time. They deserve their place into the Extreme Metal scene, and a band that seems to work hard. France has now all the Metal styles you could find in other parts of the world. 

Wishing them a long life as it becomes pretty hard those day to keep a band going. Eleven tracks with a bonus one, featuring Max Otero (Mercyless) . The album has been mixed and mastered by Vamacara Studio,  produced and recorded by Frederic Gervais at Studio Henosis . A great album to own for the fans. Dig the music as the lyrics and blast your ears for days if you are into that bloody explosive style 96/100.
