U.D.O. : “Steel Factory” CD & Digital 31st August 2018 AFM Records. German Heavy Metal band . Wow this just wow that gets into your mind when starting this killer bomb. The first song “Tongue Reaper” has that early heavy Accept riffs that for sure reminds you the origins of UDO and it is for good. The start of the second song “Make The Move” reminds the great The Scorpions famous riffs. Once again we are back to the early Accept tunes that made what those artist are today. UDO shakes heads with the lyrics to those who keep wasting the image that Heavy Metal has grown up over the years and made what we all love and got us addicted to this music style in the eighties.

Having his son Sven Dirkschneider who is an amazing drummer, boosting this powerful album to the top. And he is also surrounded by awesome musicians Andrey Smirnov (guitar) , Bill Hudson (guitar) , Fitty Wienhold (bass). Steel Factory has nice melodies and cool classical parts, it’s just pure pleasure for the ears.

This is funny to hear influences that UDO once was the one who created by his earliest band and so many became big getting influenced by UDO. So the new generation will love this album thinking of all the bands they listen to and will get back to the eighties great riffs that made Heavy Metal strong. The cover artwork as the title album just resumes what it is all about.

Pure Heavy Metal right in your face with kicking riffs and pounding hammer music still here and forever! This is a masterpiece just check the video to make up your mind and get blasted :

We can say that U.D.O has still the power and will he used to have to bring the most amazing album ever to blew the world. I’m so happy to hear this great album that revives somewhat the style that has a bit fallen into the mainstream back in the eighties to become too much distorted nowadays . While some bands have failed to give us some awesome music after decades we can proudly say that UDO is still here kicking.

Thirteen songs “In the Heat of the Night” ,  “Blood On Fire” , “Hungry and Angry” , “A Bite of Evil” … are just so strong and perfect to kick your day with power , this is a must have.  This masterpiece might be one of the best album for August to jump on the beach. Get ready to head bang and scream for UDO at festivals and get that album for your collection 100/100.
