Aether Void : “Curse of life” CD 26 March 2019 Revalve Records. Italy Rock / Heavy Metal band. 

Born from the ashes of several bands, few members decided to keep up playing music by restarting a new band. A great cover artwork with a strong message, a story line through the lyrics giving emotions and melodic passages. Musically there is like a following from a track to another setting the album to be played in its entirety . You get like absorbed by the music having so many changes, such like a river flows into the pathway it runs into.

Very hard to get a main influence, Aether Void has it’s own sound. An original band in a way , as we can just listen to and be driven by the tunes they created. I just have a question though, why they have used a kind of “growling” voice for the last tracks. It may tell you they will change their music style in the next albums to come…

A slight touch of celtic, we can say they love music giving their songs a sound to be loved by many. On the edge of Rock and Metal , the modern vibe, they will reach out lots of people. It’s entertaining, digging the text or just letting you go into the music. You we will feel love coming out from those songs that have lots of thing to say. Having a back up vocalist from another musician like a mind voice, helps getting a different expression and feel to the songs. Aether Void is playing well with feelings while turning it into a melodic and enjoying  moment.

“Angels Die Too” , “Twisted Maze” , “Faithless Crusade” .. each song has catchy riffs, entertaining melodies and never leave you out with emotions. A great time to spend to get you into a good mood and appreciate life.

Talented musicians,  they know how to write songs to set emotions and good vibe to turn them into a piece of art. Aether Void doesn’t follow the usual way for writing music, which leads to get an original and captivating album . A great band to follow and see live. Another revelation from this small country that is Italy! 

Influences ranging from Rottentown, Metallica , Iron Maiden,Bullet for my Valentine, Trivium, Blind Guardian,… You will hear your favorite band I am sure, but this won’t be easy 98/100.
