Hitting the music scene like a bomb, the musician made a solid visual video that may surprise people. The music is deep into the feelings, pounding heavy riffs with a one-tone voice. Much more like talking in a very spiritual way to mark the spirits, captivating the listener with interrogation and an attractive vibe.

You are embarked into a sect, just like the story this album theme’s about. Denouncing the cruelty and the madness that occurred from one man. A collection of tales about the life and crimes of the notorious British occultist Aleister Crowley. Never has an artist dedicated a whole album to the story of that man.

It’s with a mystery sight we are discovering Dan Brooklyn‘s universe through this album. Thirteen songs into a music journey floating between styles and atmospheres. Sometimes heavy sometimes scary as frozen.  It will be loved by many though. The main style, is into the Gothic Dark side but some songs evolve into other paths. Yet the voice keeps its monotone tune.

Influences from Machine Head, Type’O Negative, Behemoth, White Zombie, Ministry, and many more. The music will speak to many addicts.

It somehow deranges the way we all see music, you can’t set up Dan Brooklyn into a box. His music is a piece of art exploring the individual mind through everyone’s eyes. The Ozzy Osbourne cover is made in the same vein, if you can recognize it, it sure sounds different.

He had the help of Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Caleb Bingham, to compose this genius masterpiece. Which probably results from the Thrash Metal influence on a few songs. An unusual cover album without a name or title, Yet it will mark people’s minds and stay in music history for long.

A great album 98/100.
