No Return: “Requiem” CD 21st October 2022 Mighty Music. France Thrash / Death Metal band.
The mighty French band is already back with another album! Obviously, they worked hard to beat the pandemic show less time. I was wondering what was going on as the cover for the first track as a single to tell people ‘hey we’re still here’ had a very rough cover artwork.
It freaked me out and made me wonder if the band changed something. So it is with pleasure I discovered the new artwork for the album and the music that revived my memory. I have known this band since they started as they lived not far from my town. hearing this new album sends me back to those years. A mix of the first two albums with the singer reminds me of the one from the second album.
So you will get goosebumps while playing this track! It’s powerful, it rips and blows your mind. Check it out:
It’s indeed more brutal than their start, but with still thrash riffs and strong Death Metal growls you are used to in this field. With the powerful explosion of your senses, you’ll headbang like mad. Ten tracks to blast your days with pleasure. Influences from Testament, Arch Enemy, Amon Amarth, and the best of the genre. Feels like No Return will kick your Xmas tree this year!
Always nice passages to get some melodies and rest before the storm, a well-composed album that will leave you speechless. I may say the little lineup change was a good one as this album is a blast that will be loved by many!
