Craig Locicero (Forbidden), formed this band in 2017. He was a very active musician, appearing in many bands to finally create one independently. At that time no one would guess Forbidden would see the light of day again. Due to lineup issues, the band kind of fell into the unknown. Thankfully, he found a new singer in the name of Kayla Dixon.
The five-track EP sees at least the day! Unusual cover artwork, the artistic view gives the insight of an artistic music. A combination of influences brings genius compositions. a powerful voice and explosive guitar riffs among melodies.
Jungling between Metal tunes and rock ones, each track is different on its own. Kayla’s voice reminds so many pop/rock singers who have been the shining stars of the media in the eighties. Having some angry / growls to blast it all and set the band into the new wave of modern Metal. So many influences make Dress the Dead one of the most diverse bands of its time.
