Evil Scarecrow : “Chapter IV: Antartarctica ” CD & Digital 28th September 2018 Dead Box Records . UK Heavy / Thrash / Black / Indus / Modern Metal band. Keeping their theatrical funny image and getting your imagination working, this is a band that is worth seeing live. This fourth album has a brilliant cover inviting you to enter into their world, imagine getting into a Tim Burton movie. Flying monsters, ghosts, falling heads… this is out of the ordinary bands we know. For the fans it is a normal behaviour that makes them apart and loved and hated from others.
Like other bands around the world who are into the non usual box genre, they create and make their own creations sounding like no one else. Of course they have influences but they are spread apart from each genre making this band out of the usual, out of time. An intro kind of ACDC , Slayer riffs, Dimmu Borgir keyboards and feel of Satyricon universe.
They could be taken as a parody , the Spinal Tape way with make-up and lyrics but for the music of the new generation. The crowd love them and so what was probably a first try became a complete band playing and making albums for those who likes anything but music.
Ten tracks with diverse history concept with an intro that let you come into a fighting field reminding the Romans or even the ancient wars like Mel Gibson ‘s Braveheart movie.
Check the seventh track for new single ‘Polterghost’ to make up your mind :
They reunite all the artistic jobs in one, musicians, actors… they have a complete artistic life with Evil Scarecrow .
