Jenner : “The Test Of Time” CD 20th February 2020 Inferno Records. Serbia Heavy / Thrash Metal band.

After many years of Thrash Metal , the female band got their fame .They managed to get a brillant album signed to Inferno Records from France. Alexandra Lioness the main guitarist who is really talented, after few years to support the first album , and numerous line up changes.  Has finally taken over the vocal duties while keeping the guitar. The band today is a three piece with a new bass player. Sadly they pulled out a mini three tracks Ep, which is good keeping the spirit of Thrash and having some Heavy Metal parts injected getting this Ep a little different from the first album.

A song with a guest to make it Thrasher than before reminding the eighties German bands. When listening to this mine Ep you can just play it over and over again wishing the ladies will make another great album in the futur. The title album describes pretty well what a band must face. Alexandra has in the meantime played in Hellcats for live shows, keep practicing and have her own utube video in which she plays the best songs.

‘Female Thrash Metal at its best , need much support from the masses’

I let you appreciate this killer track :

Influences ranging from Skullfist, Iron Maiden, Kreator, Atrophy, Forbidden, Anthrax, Tankard.. While they are keeping this moshing groovy feel, you can hear lots of Heavy Metal influences to spread this as much as possible. It is always cool to hear the music the musicians have been inspired by. Alexandra ‘s voice is not too different from the previous singer which in a way helps keeping the band’s identity on the same level.

Heavy pounding drums, awesome solos and entertaining songs reminding the eighties Thrash Metal that will make us all mosh for long. We can hope the band ‘s line up doesn’t suffer more and bring us another brilliant album. Those girls rock so buy it 100/100.
