Mason :”Impervious” CD & Digital 6th October 2017 Self Release. Australia Thrash Metal band.  When the first note gets in your ear you know it’s gonna be an awesome band.  It ‘s blowing riffs and nice voice reminding many legends. So you start to think “it’s great but not really original’ until you hear the double guitar solos played by awesome shredders and then you just realise this ain’t like any other band! The way the songs are written , the attack , the speed and the melodies it’s mind blowing and you just bow to the mighty Mason Thrashing explosion.

They manage to mix the agressivity most Thrash bands get with the speed and kick ass riffs but they also have a soul on each song that drives the the whole album interesting and giving you the wish to hear more. It’s an addictive album with a very good work and will conquer the world with force.

The song “the afterlife” is an awesome song as “Tears of Tragedy” so intense I can’t explain the pleasure I have to listen such a masterpiece. This band is for me one of the best in the genre. Why don’t they have a label ? this is the kind of band that should be now exposed to the masses and gives hope for the Metal scene. Influences that come into my mind but hard to figure out :  from Flotsam and Jetsam, Kreator, Havok, Heathen, Exodus, Warbringer… the great thing is they have their own style and that what makes them out of the basket best Thrash Metal album to come 100/100.
