Northwind Wolves : “Dark…Cold…Grim” CD February 2018 Black Lion Records. USA Black Metal band. Although I am not a fan of that music style they are few bands I like due to their melodies and creativity , and this is what I find in this album! I am kicked straight from the start with this amazing piece that regroups many elements of the genre and the fans will just love it. A beautiful booklet with atmosphere to swallow your soul and conquer your heart.

I am stunt to see how people create a logo like this for a name, we used to see impossible names to be read but this one is special. Really have something to make up your mind with the readable name adding the shape of a wolf face to the name. I just think it’s genius. The cover artwork is made with talent and you can feel the main idea behind the music you hear while the CD is spinning .

If Hollywood is known for Glam and Heavy Metal you can now add the brilliant band Northwind Wolves to get the Black Metal style to blast the mountains. Ex- Sinstorm members Noor and Astaroth decided to pursue their love by creating this new group that regroup all the best the music style has given so far. Nine tracks of blasting fast kicking thunder of explosion riffs and vocals to burst your head with desire.

Listen and bow to the mighty Northwind Wolves :

The song that describes well the band is “Foul Wolves and Black Magic” bringing you back to a certain time like plunging into a movie, sending your imagination into another world  .For the fans of Dissection , Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth, Emperor, Darkthrone, Marduk… a complete mix that brings a masterpiece right from the country you won’t expect. Mixed and mastered in Norway by Chrsiter at Velvet Recording which gives credit to the sound of the masters. This is a beautiful piece of art to own so buy it now 100/100.
