Ragenheart : “The Last King” Digipack CD and Digital 1st April 2018 Steel Gallery Records. Greece Heavy Metal band. Started back in 2003 the band like many had line up changes and with time released an album few years later. In 2010 they released “Child of Time” which had great reviews and if you listen to their music you can hear the precise work they have worked for to bring us the best album so far. The album “The Last King ” is further more into the melodic side and if they were not from Greece I would say they are from Finland has their music and sound is closer to those bands we are used to hear.
Their logo is a mix of two words and even if not that close, reminds names like Manowar, the album has that cover of a fighting warrior with an awesome cover artwork that leads to the imagination. While you may expect a power of Heavy Metal it has a softer touch  with lots of melodies. Most of the songs have different theme and the album is not concentrated around that fighter. Many are about the life and the inner-self which somehow means a constant fight in the world we are living in.
The song “Blind Away” is a brilliant song reminding some great hits in the music history. The album title “The Last King” is a great song with an intro that matches well the cover artwork done by the guitarist Angel Priest,  the main founder of the band. Eleven tracks here to please your ears with beautiful dreams. The sixth song “Metal Rules The Night” is a hit single that will pop right into your brain and won’t leave. A song dedicated to the passion Heavy Metal is bringing us and that unite all of Metal Heads around the world like a hymn you will sing at  live shows !
Mixed and mastered at Sound Addict Studios , Â giving that album “The Last King” a perfect sound to conquer the world. The last song “Our Mighty Past” being a beautiful solo guitar ballad reminding Lita Ford’s one on Dangerous curves album except here you have vocals and is a complete song. The rain and a sad story closing down that warrior ‘s soul. John Koronaios has a very heavy vocal range to summon the whole and some keyboards that bring a special atmosphere.
This is an awesome album for the fans of The Scorpions, Bonfire, Iron Maiden, Europe, Primal Fear, Great White, Warrant, Malmsteen, Joe Lynn Turner…
