RoadkillSoda : “Mephobia” CD , Double Red LP & Digital Universal Music. Romania Punk / Rock / Stoner / Grunge band. A cover album rather explicit with messages (should be rated -10 lol) it surely is not the usual band we have the chance to see or hear. This is their fifth album while they have been together for few years only. The name pretty funny with a hint to their music style : ‘shake and get in your face with bubbles of influences’ . If you can’t drink it you will get your ears spilling with tunes of pleasure. Very exploding it’s raw and loud to kick your butt and make you dance. The first track “Prometheus” has many influences from Black Sabbath riffs played in a rough fast tempo mixed with rocking Monster Magnet attitude that get you out of the bed and will keep you awake until the album has stopped. Check that song you will want to have the album :

A slight funky style giving that groove to then explode those punky riffs. You will jump in the crowd and get a really good moment or just explode your ears all day long. Stop coffee this band has the alternative ! their music is just alive and kicking nothing is better. So get your soda and blow your mind. Eleven tracks to make your day, each song has a different vibe and some have that Nirvana touch mostly from the singer. The feel of Red hot Chilli Pepper at some point through Rage Against the machine their influences are wide and will get to anyone who like to have a great time.

Having already played many festivals from Exit fest, Wrong Fest, Fuzztasticplanet fest..being on many compilations they have a great history on their own for the short time they have been here in the music scene. It is a band to check and follow as you will or not get the vibe they send through this powerful music. A band we love to see live as they move the place and shake your blood to boil of energy. It’s definitively an album that is one of best to end the year so why not playing it for christmas ?… get your dose 98/100.
