For many Sanctuary is a well known Thrash Metal band from the eighties. Here we have a French band who took the name for another music style. Alive from few years, they are gathering the extreme Metal scene in France. An evolution from their previous effort and to be loved by the fans of this genre.

You can find an interview in The Metal Mag to learn more about them, in a country that has thirty years late on everything it is with no surprise we discover this Metal movement that has made it strong abroad in the nineties. Heavy guitar riffs, keyboards giving a special atmosphere and a sharky rough voice. While it is not original nor new, we can say those musicians have worked their way to get a very good album. 

Melodic solos, powerful tunes with entertaining songs. Everything is made to get an overall good feeling about it. The mix as the compositions give it a professional touch. It is amazingly well done and as many young bands, it is with no surprise we are listening to a very good piece. Even people who are not much into the extreme Metal, can appreciate the melody and heaviness Sanctuary is playing.

Tiny bits of Thrash Metal , Sanctuary mixes all the ingredients to make a great Metal album. Fans of Dimmu Borgir, Behemoth, Aeturnus and else will worship them. Any fans of this powerful music should own this CD. A brilliant piece of creation. If light exists in the darkness, it is Sanctuary for sure.
