Scarlean : “Ghost” Digital 2016 GHOST PROD. French Gothic / Grunge / R&B / Rock / Progressive / Indus… band. Always hard to review an album when nothing is catching your ears. Pretty cold and slow the music is really special and I won’t advice anyone with suicidal tendencies to listen to. Close to Gothic depressing tunes as the cover pretty dark, they are playing with sounds and atmosphere that categorizing well French music. Spread out into different liking and with no real line to follow it gives a difficult approach to the listeners. Even if some songs have heavy guitars reminding the Grunge bands like Soundgarden or Alice in Chains it doesn’t move any hair on my arms. Too cold trying to get that prog style at some point it’s more touching the Indus style from a thrill.

Some song has that R&B sound and even vocals you can hear on TV that are very popular those days. Trying too hard to get an identity make them loose a soul. They certainly have a love for Grunge and Gothic music that is the most heard on the album. Get your own mind :

Ten tracks without real identity with different feeling due to the lyrics , like one of their song is called “under a boring rain” is what I would describe the music .Wish them success as they will reach fans in the same vein 60/100
