The Lust :”Dear Diary” CD 10th September 2018 Wordlessness Records. Russian Gothic band. The band members Yan and Anna brought us an new mini album with some covers that makes a great combination of cool songs to get you in the mood of that kind of music.

A bit more gothic than the earliest albums it gets deeper in the darkest feelings. Anna Dust has written the lyrics from the first two songs with special personal text about what’s deep inside. A kind of talking to a book where you sometimes write all your thoughts. Yan the man behind the guitars, bass and vocals the stone of the band gives a strong impact and perfect tunes.

The song “You’ll never be mine” is inspired by a tragedy happened in Russia because an awful tragedy in small town Kerch. 19 have been killed and about 50 wounded in a shooting at a college.

Here is the song :

The beautiful voice of Anna Dust helps getting a bit of light in those deadly tunes. The cover artwork is astonishing and shows the reality of today’s generation killing for nothing. Unfortunately it happens in all parts of the world. A beautiful song that resonate into each sensitive person as those who have children.

Six songs with two originals and an instrumental one, the last song is a different edit of the second one kind of hidden , two covers from Paradise Lost and Sundown to blow the album into your deepest thoughts.

The instrumental song is in fact the end of the first one “Dear Diary” in which we can hear laughs and shootings sounds that are sadly getting you in the mood of the tragedy that brought this song to life.

A great mini album you should own if you love this music style or simply love what those artists are creating. A beautiful piece 98/100.
