While the band is titled German, the lineup is composed of different nationalities such as English and else. The main member started the band in Germany so it makes sense. Formed in 2016 from an older formation, the band got to line up issues like most and has now a new guitarist. The amazing thing about this band is the fact the singer is playing an acoustic guitar among a  guitarist who plays electric.
The originality of The Wide is in its way of combining instruments that aren’t usually used together. The mix gives a fresh “live” sound and straight from the album, it feels like you are in a show. The combination of the music jumps into several music styles, from Billy Idol‘s Rock’s Roll tunes. Slight darkness from The Cure, the music is pretty full of good vibes and happiness.
A feel from David Bowie“s universe with the feelings in the voice. A very good journey where it flows so well; imagine being on a boat leaving the river floating on the water. Peaceful music sending you back with John Lennon. Some bluesy guitars reminding the sixties with Pink Floyd…Â
