Soulimage : “Human Kind – Animal Mind” CD 31st May 2019 Echozone. German Gothic / Indus / New Wave / Rock band. Starting with a strong keyboard sound it is definitively going to point out to the fans of the Electronic sound age. Due to the mix of other styles , it might also be loved by the new generation who are into those “Electronic” Rock bands.

For their second album they have decided to reach the link between human being and its animal roots that like love and hate are so close they can show at anytime. And so the black and white colors to show the images like Evil vs Good… You got it , this is some kind of questioning our inner self. You are embarked into a robot world with a human life inside.

The music is really showing every pieces of those part that makes life what it is today and with influences from the late eighties that started the Electronic touch with the first keyboard sounds. Of course to dig the lyrics and the whole Idea you must like the music style. So the influences are ranging from Rammstein, Depeche Mode, Billy Idol, Porno Graphic Messiah

For those who are into this kind of electronic music they will find other influences they know are into the same vein. For me it is hard to capture the essence of those that aren’t my like. The rock element helps a bit to make it easier to listen to and I even got a song coming from those late eighties that popped into my mind while listening to this album.

I leave you with their video:

So it is a very good album with the new technology that makes it sound perfect. How couldn’t it be with today’s technology?! Twelve songs with a life that are each different to speak about the lyrics , while the album is in its complete same vein throughout the time. There is a story that is felt during the play , songs such as “Blind”, “Children of Tomorrow” , “Welcome to Your Own Dirt”… dive into Robert Eberl ‘s world!

Soulimage is spreading the sound and image of today’s music. Get this album now if you like this new generation digital sound 90/100.
