Joe Stump : “Symphonic Onslaught” CD 21st March 2019 Lion Music. Heavy Metal Virtuoso guitarist. He is back with a new album to shred your soul with pleasure. Starting with an intro that rips it all, each track is a masterpiece sometimes more into the shredding like. He’s jumping into many styles such as Power Metal and Heavy / Thrash Metal even Bluesy Rock, without singer it feels like usual songs!

It’s just amazing all the emotions you can feel during those songs. For guitarist lovers like me it is a real pleasure for the ears. The songs “Stratocastle ” is in the way of  Stevie Ray Vaughan , of course you’ll find another song reminding the Yngwie Malmsteen style which is in the same vein. Joe has his own style and shredding with the classical touch and melodies always get him compared by the same old shredders.

This album is like he wanted to show all his likes in the music that could be played only as instrumental. He made an awesome work and you are driven through from the start until the end , like any albums made by bands who have a singer and songs with stories. His songs may make you think of Accept or even Dokken, Deep Purple, Judas Priest… there is a magic in his creations.

He knows the music and how to play it with his touch, check that one :

We have here an eleven tracks album , full of shredding with atmosphere and real Metal influences talking to everyone who loves music. You can tell the album is like a crazy train driving full speed like in the ancient times but windy colors that set its out of the ordinary. Songs like “Demonic Trance” , “Swedish Assassin” , “The Bullet Train Express”.. you named it, a bloody masterpiece your should all own!

You can catch him live playing with Alcatrazz as he joined the band earlier this year. So don’t miss him! And get that CD…

Joe Stump is one of a hell of great musician and deserves his recognition, explosive cover artwork and pounding Heavy Metal riffs to blast your head full of love 100/100.
