Porno Graphic Messiah : “Terrorize Me” CD 13th December 2017 Konklav records. French Indus / Techno / New Wave / Gothic / Metal band. Started back in 2006 the band has managed to get a wide audience and play lot of gigs across France and released several albums. When it comes to bands that play that kind of music mixed up with electronic samples and digital synthesizer it gets hard for me.

Four members who seem to play instrument as using computer sounds makes an unusual band for sure.  It surely helps to create at home your music and only people who see them live can understand how the band works. From the band’s name to the cover artwork they need big exposure to get people listening to their music. Today they have a public so the fans must follow them. The blood stains could make think of a Grind band but it isn’t !

Inside the leaflet one thing is sure the singer guitarist is the main member and composer of this art. They must change line up or have recently since the people inside are not the same as in the videos….

An intro with keys reminding  Depeche Mode style to get you in the mood of the album then you get to the first track with Heavy guitar distortion bringing you in the vein of Ministry, some screaming distorted voices and mellow ones. if you watched the movie The Crow they actually fit in that category of the bands used for the soundtracks.

Fourteen tracks with different atmosphere and music style with sometimes very short tracks able to reach diverse people from diverse universes. They are having fun and really into today’s generation without borders nor limit to spread their wings and get the most fans as possible.

Get a hint :

So the influences so far : Ministry, Marilyn Manson , Depeche Mode, Machine Head, The Cure, Danzig, Type o negative, Rammstein…and I’m sure new kids will find others from modern bands , a great package with great production and colorful 96/100.
