Seven Thorns : “Symphony of Shadows ” Digital 14th December 2018 Mighty Music . Denmark Power  / Prog / Metal band. Started in late nineties the band had different line up issues and released several albums later on. This is their fifth album and like a ‘project’ they are juggling with musicians yet putting out a brillant album with power and melodies. The cover artwork as the lyrics make us think of a movie. You are sent into an adventure that will lives you with  lots of feelings. The band is composed with excellent musicians giving this album a strong and powerful energy.

The compositions are really pushing the listener to get addicted and captivated by the atmosphere of each songs story line. The keyboard and guitars are playing together like few bands have done since the seventies like a challenge to power the strength of this mighty creation. Floating into the technical parts of Prog bands without being completely one, they set a very complicated and amazing work that leaves you speechless.

Seven Thorns brings us a brilliant work that will get metal heads moving at live shows. This is a symphony of riffs ! Influences are varied and you will hear many such as : Saxon, Dimmu Borgir keyboards, Deep Purple, Yngwie Malmsteen, Mr big, Symphony X, Dream Theater, UDO… They will blast the scene at each venu and festivals. For sure they aren’t original, but if you like those technics and riffs that take you from the beginning to the end without stopping your joy then you should get that awesome piece before christmas 98/100.
