Temperance : “Of Jupiter And Moons” Digipack CD 20th April 2018 Scarlet Records . Italian Power Metal / Symphonic / Progressive / Rock / Pop / Folk band. Their previous album was to my memory pretty interesting but they wanted to achieve more. They have now three vocals and do their best to reproduce the hard work done on the album to be exactly the same at live shows. I must say by hearing this album it must be a complete work to play those amazing creations live.

The cover artwork made by Yann Souetre (Ayreon), is sending you into scientific world and fits well with the music that is out of time and into another dimension. From the first note it takes you to another place and is so entertaining that you can’t leave until it’s finished. You are catapulted into their imagination. Mixed and Mastered by Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Epica, Amaranthe) you won’t be surprised by the influences bleeding through and not amazed by that perfect sound.

Sure the fans of the genre will jump and worship this band, others will think the band hasn’t found it’s way and still searching. I must admit it sounds a bit different from the previous work and is closer to the actual Symphonic scene. Influence ranging from Kamelot, Celine Dion , Amaranthe , Angra , Within Temptation , Helloween , Abba , Metallica , Epica , Nightwish , Dream Theater, Deep Purple… such a diverse mix of music it’s impossible to categorize them and put into a box.

They are playing what a certain population into the music is searching for and it is well done like a glove . What is sure they have the potential and the people behind to back them up to succeed get on top of the charts. Great musicians and great singers playing great music what else do you want? It is perfect, a bit too much so go see them live and tell us they are as good as they are in the album . If you like melodies, heavy guitars , keyboards atmosphere, and a mixture of ancient and modern music this is for you 98/100.
