Dark Arena : “Alien Factor” LP & CD 29th May 2020 Pure Steel Records. USA Thrash Metal band.
When amazing musicians got together and release a masterpiece. An amazing cover artwork , flying great high melodies vocal line. Blasting solos, powerful tunes. A reminder of the eighties best when Heavy Metal became Thrash Metal with a taint of Progressive touch with keyboards. Of course it has be released by this amazing label who owns all the great albums on vinyls!
Once again a very limited LP edition, only 250 copies for the lucky ones who buy it quickly. A collectible item but for those who can’t get it , the CD will of course get released to a bigger masses. A must have for sure, first the cover artwork then the music and also the work from amazing guitarist Paul Konjicija (Antithesis) who left us last year.
Juan Ricardo (Ritual, Sunless Sky, Wretch) sings like on Ritual album making this a powerful force in the Metal world and such a pleasure to hear. The roots of old good Heavy Metal with the power of Thrash and a hint of Progressive touch with the keyboards from Rhiannon Wisniewski and little effects on the voice at some point.
Dark Arena creates some great tunes to gather all the Metal fans around the world , remembering the good eighties and keeping alive the roots of real brilliant music that will never die. The talent of those musicians is just kicking right in the stomach. A pearl that will hit the world with a bomb in May! What a brilliant way to give this hard times some amazing music to get your life better!
