Magg Dylan : “Amethyst” Digital 21st February 2020 Eclipse Records . USA Modern Pop / Punk / Grunge / Alternative Rock band.

Started in 2017 after many bands creation from guitarist Brucifer Jordan, he met Suzanne De Iulio and the band was born. A year later they had a full band and released their first album that helped them secure live shows. A very quick start for a band. Jordan being in the music for a while it was easy for him to get all the contacts to get his project working.

Punky riffs with that heavy pounding sound from the down tuned strings, a voice that could hit the charts from every pop radio and Tv shows without a trouble. This is what I call sugar music for teenagers , getting back into the mid nineties where bands wanted to be rock but on the edge of popular music to still gain fans. Some little screams to set the band into a style that mix many ones.

Same guitar riffs heard thousand times in this “mainstream” world to make sure to hit the kids to fall in love in a second. A voice reminding those pop stars who have been on TV and radios for decades. Magg Dylan for sure used the recipe to grow fast and get interest from the medias who yearn for those.

Lots of reverb to give a kind of power which doesn’t make the song better than what it is. A huge image for a band that has nothing more to bring on the music table. Strong logo and blasting cover artwork to gain attention. All the elements to attract attention and interest.

Not being fan of those nineties bands, and a voice reminding too much pop stars. Influences ranging from Shania Twain, Avril Lavigne, Avenged Sevenfold, Offspring, No Doubt, Alice in Chains, Natalie Unbreglia, Paramore, Korn, Green Day.. And you will find others if you love those years.

A well produced album to kick people ‘s eyes and get all the kids as the ones who were born in the nineties to love this band 95/100.
