Salem UK : “Win Lose Or Draw” CD 8th November 2019 Dissonance Productions .  UK FM / Hard Rock band.

Started in 1979, the band has a strong history and many albums to date. Reformed in 2009 after a long hiatus, the bands is keeping creating songs for the pleasure of many. Like many eighties bands they had a time where they released albums through Pure Steel Records label who likes to release those oldies.

The game has changed and so like many English bands , they have signed a deal with Dissonance Productions which is releasing all the the bands of their country. You can find an interview in The Metal Mag as previous reviews. An awesome cover artwork all painted. The former members Adrian Jenkinson and Simon Saxby among the new members delivering a brilliant album.

A very soft Rock / Hard Rock tunes that will gain lots of fans worldwide, keeping the roots of the early eighties sound and creation. Beautiful feelings and kick ass guitar solos from Francis Gill lifting up the whole tunes. Dave Megginson on the drums gives a groove style that rocks the songs. The technics from great musicians tight as Jazz and precise use.

Nice and melodic rocking tunes, feeling like listening to an old LP. Ten songs to dance to, entertaining and well conceived Salem UK is riving the young years with a blasting new blood. The album flows really nicely in your ears like your favorite one that made you fall in love.

Influences ranging from FM, Saxon, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, The Scorpions, Mama’s boys, Ozzy Osbourne, Van Halen… But not only as it has many influences from the late sixties. A very good album to own , make sure you follow the band live 98/100.
